My name is Heather, I am a lactating lactation consultant, RN and co-sleeping, babywearing mama from Long Island NY. I am married with four wonderful children.
I am a major supporter of breastfeeding, I know and have seen first hand the health benefits, but besides that, NOTHING beats the bond! Breastfeeding is not only the best gift you can give to your child, but it is the best gift you can give to yourself. My husband is also an RN, and I have proudly converted him to a formula and crib believer into a proud AP Dad. We met and I had three kids, he had two. I made it clear if we had a baby together we would be doing things my way as far as breastfeeding, co-sleeping etc. Now he says he is so happy he went along with this and would not have it any other way. He does NICU and peds so now is telling all his parents the benefits
I have always loved new moms and babies, I have loved them since I was a small child and have made a career out of moms and babies. I love what I do! I am always happy to help a breastfeeding mom find solutions to make her and baby a successful breastfeeding duo which is the main reason behind this business!
